A Two-Year Alternative to the Traditional Degree

Vertical Immersive is a two- or three-year residential program in Carmel, Indiana. Students spend the first year discovering how they are wired and building real skills. The second year adds career development and apprenticeships, with students doing real work for real businesses.

What happens during a visit day:

Meet the staff and facilitators. See how values and competencies are built into every class, not bolted on.

Ask current students anything. Coursework, housing, mission trips, apprenticeships. They will answer honestly.

Tour the space. Walk the classrooms and workspaces where students spend their days.

Hear from working leaders. Business owners, ministry leaders, and entrepreneurs share how they navigate work and faith.

Eat lunch on us. Chipotle, Chick-fil-A, something edible…

Questions Families Ask

  • This counts as a typical college visit and is an excused absence at most schools.

  • No. Vertical Immersive is a two- or three-year formation and apprenticeship program, not a degree-granting institution. Most of our students go straight into the workforce.

  • No. Most students arrive undecided. The first year is designed for exactly that.

  • Visit Day is free. We will cover program tuition, housing, and the apprenticeship structure in person, and you can review it beforehand on our tuition page.

  • Yes, though most families attend together. Parents get more out of the staff conversations, students get more out of the student panel.
